Product Life Cycle Update (Infor LX & BPCS)
The April Infor LX Town hall contained the following product life cycle information:
- Infor LX 8.3.0 – 8.3.3, mainstream maintenance ended on 12/31/2019, with extended maintenance ending on 12/31/2021.
- Infor LX 8.3.4, mainstream maintenance will end at the end of 2021, with extended maintenance ending at the end of 2023.
- Mainstream maintenance has ended on all BPCS versions 4.005 through 8.2, and extended maintenance on BPCS 8.2 only is available until 12/31/2020.
Likewise, there are key dates to keep in mind concerning IBM i Support.
- IBM i 7.2 support will phase out at some point in 2021.
- Support for IBM i 7.3 through IBM Next +1 will be ongoing well into the 2023 and beyond time-frame.
